Make life a walk in the park.
Blend the convenience of city life with the promise of outdoor fun—with Mount Jefferson Park just outside.
Nestled between two parks, Oakville is where Alexandrians can surround themselves with open spaces. The Mount Jefferson Park & Greenway to the west is a 4.6-acre linear park that offers native plantings, a newly expanded off-leash dog exercise area, and an ADA-compliant multi-use trail with additional trail connectors.
To the east, on the shore of the river, is Potomac Yard Park. This 23.4-acre expanse provides visitors with an outdoor event stage, picnic tables, athletic field (plus basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts), walking and cycling trails, and an interactive fountain to help kids cool down after playing in one of the park’s two fun-filled playgrounds.
